There are no words to express our feelings about Rose and her staff. We have been there for 8 years now, with 3 different children. Rose has become a member of our family and I truly consider her my children's "other mother".
The environment there is perfect for learning and exploring. This is not a place where kids sit and watch TV. The kids are taking walks to see the horses with Ms. Prescy and Ms. Tere and they are learning about nature along the way. There is plenty of outdoor fun in the castle and play toys she has as well. Upon pick up you'll find them playing tball, soccer or playing in the water table or sand box.
Most exciting is the quality of learning time the ladies provide. They start out with numbers, letters and songtime. Then they focus on age related skills like coloring, cutting/pasting and the result is always an amazing project.
Rose has her heart in this business and it is apparent from all angles. All 3 ladies love these children and the environment fosters love and respect- 2 very important things in raising children.
Everyone should be so lucky to have someone like Rose, Prescy and Tere in their child's life.

We found Rose through the state of VA's childcare provider database and interviewed her before our daughter was born. We immediately felt comfortable and were delighted with the environment, such a unique mixture of a comfy home-base with structured learning and activities. Our daughter was with Rose and Presci from 3 months until she turned 2 and we had to move from Virginia. At the time, I was pregnant with our second child and was more then ready to have him at Rose's too. One of the very hardest parts of leaving Virginia was leaving Rose. She became a much-loved part of our extended family. And I felt that our daughter could never have had the kind of care and nurturing anywhere else, as well as an environment that fosters learning, discovery, and curiosity. She just blossomed with Rose and company. I highly recommend Little Wonders!
